We Live for Each Other
The Delta Gamma chapter of Alpha Delta Pi was founded in 1957 at the University of Arizona. Our chapter is characterized by our authentic and vibrant presence on campus. While no two ADPi’s are alike, it is this unparalleled individuality that fosters the bond shared amongst our sisters. The open motto of Alpha Delta Pi is “We Live for Each Other,” and there are no better words to describe our sisterhood. Through every success, every hardship, and every new experience, our sisters find comfort within Alpha Delta Pi; it is our home away from home. During the four years of a young woman’s collegiate experience, Alpha Delta Pi provides confidence and support, empowering her to reach her fullest potential. Nevertheless, the friendships made here are everlasting, and are carried into adulthood and beyond. People don’t join organizations. People join people.
Our Principles
Alpha Delta Pi’s objective is to enrich the lives of members throughout their collegiate experiences. Our four leading principles are scholarship, leadership, sisterhood, and service which we strive to embrace every single day.
Scholarship
Alpha Delta Pi is committed to high academic standards. We expect that each of our members prioritize classroom attendance and performance. As a chapter, we provide educational programs, chapter and campus resource information, and motivation and recognition programs. We are devoted to help members prepare for successful futures.
Leadership
As a diverse group of women with a variety of interests and talents, members utilize their passions to make a difference both within and beyond Alpha Delta Pi. While there are many leadership opportunities within this chapter, we encourage and support our sisters who take on roles in various clubs, extracurriculars, internships, jobs, and activities.
Sisterhood
Beyond sisterhood events and snapping cute photos, the bonds created within this chapter far exceed surface-level friendships. We have carried each other through our worst of times and we have celebrated each other through our best of times. College isn’t easy, but having an army of girls prepared to support you through anything makes it a whole lot smoother.
Service
Collegians of Alpha Delta Pi are dedicated to expressing philanthropic spirit in many ways. Our sisters strive to make impactful and positive differences on our campus and in our community. Nationally, Alpha Delta Pi has contributed over $1.4 million to charitable organizations, in the last year alone. Working to better the lives of others not only makes them feel good, but makes us feel good as well.
