Diamond Series: ADPi Scores Big for the RMHC

This spring, our chapter hosted a remarkable philanthropy week, successfully raising an impressive $25,338.97 for the Ronald McDonald House Charities. We kicked off the week with a percentage night at a popular local restaurant, Illegal Pete's, where we garnered $490.97 for the RMHC. Our philanthropy efforts continued at a University of Arizona baseball game, contributing an additional $315 from ticket sales.

One of the highlights of the week was the King of Diamonds event, an Alpha Delta Pi themed Jeopardy night that brought in $225 through the participation of our fraternity friends. However, the pinnacle of the week was the much-anticipated Diamond Series. This exciting baseball tournament featured teams from various fraternities, competing not just for bragging rights but to support a great cause. Our sisters worked together to pull off this event, undertaking roles of coaches, cheerleaders, referees, and working at check in or concession stands. The Diamond Series alone raised a staggering $24,308 through donations, sponsors, concession sales, and team registration fees.

Our chapter's dedication and hard work during their philanthropy week made a significant impact, showcasing our commitment to supporting families in need. Special thanks to our philanthropy team, led by our Director of Philanthropy, Lexi Franklin, for organizing this outstanding week of events. The efforts of our sisters not only provided substantial financial support to the Ronald McDonald House Charities but also brought the community together for a series of fun and engaging events.
